چکیده

rumen cannula were fed 2 equal meals per day: wheat straw (475 and 95 g, respectively) and a mixture containing 59% olive hard crust, 40% wheat bran and 1 % NaCl (4.2 and 1.5 kg). In vitro degradation (table I) of the less digestible substrates was higher in camels than in sheep. In sacco degradation, corrected for microbial contamination, confirmed this result. In sacco degradation of soya bean meal was lower in camels than in sheep for the first 36 h (table II), which was the highest retention time of this substrate in the rumen. Micro-

Anticancer activity of cow, sheep, goat, mare, donkey and camel milks and their caseins and whey proteins and in silico comparison of the caseins

The present investigation was carried out to evaluate anticancer activity of cow, goat, sheep, mare, donkey and camel milks and their casein and whey proteins against MCF7 cell line. The structure-based properties of the casein proteins were also investigated, using bioinformatics tools to find explanation for their antitumor activities. The effect of different milks and their casein and whey p...

Isolation and Identification of Tannin-degrading Bacteria from Native Sheep and Goat Feces in Kohgiloye and Boyer-Ahmad Province

Oak trees cover a wide range of forests in Iran and most of them are located in Kohgiloye and Boyer-Ahmad province (K.B). The high tannin is one of the anti-nutritional characteristics of acorn for domestic animal. Wide range of gut microorganisms could tolerate tannin and reduce it by producing tannase enzyme. This study was carried out to isolate and identify the tannin resistance bacteria (t...
